IN TALK 1: Clare Morell explains that social media platforms are designed to profit off us and our children. As a result, we become the product, and our brains are rewired as we use our devices. The results are clear: depression, anxiety, self-harm, inability to concentrate, and addiction. IN TALK 2: Caleb Morell lays out the “Influence Principle” (children are always being influenced – by you or someone else) and the “Influence Formula” (influence is a function of time, authority, and common orientation). IN TALK 3: Ben Wright gives 27 actions to take in preparation and response to a child’s sexual sin. Each is undergirded with biblical principles to equip you to love your children well and point them to the gospel even in the hardest times. TALK 4: Narrowing in on the harms of pornography, Caleb shows the prevalence and effects of pornography before showing that a gospel-centered response to its use may be the greatest opportunity a parent has to show the love of God. TALK 5: In their final talk, Clare and Caleb give 5 principles and a number of resources parents can implement in their families. They encourage parents that to “delay is the way” and to remember that their relationship with your child is God-given and more important to their child than anything else.
