At the age of 9 during a revival I came to the understanding that I was a sinner in need of the salvation by grace offered by Jesus Christ’s voluntary and sacrificial death. I was baptized afterwards and my salvation experience was genuine. I was truly saved at this age but my growth and development did not progress as it should. At the age of 17 I felt I should be re-baptized and this preceded a period of growth and strengthening of faith that was the beginning of my development toward maturity as a Christian. My greatest growth has come when I have been teaching and that has motivated me to dig deeper, to be more consistent in my study and allowed me to learn more.
