Milwood supports several local organizations and mission points. Each year we reach out to our most immediate community through events such as our summer Family Fun Nights and our annual Fall Fest.

Here are some organizations beyond our zip code that we help to support as partners in loving our city.

Angel Tree (Prison Fellowship) // https://www.prisonfellowship.org

For 2.7 million children in the U.S., that story may be filled with the abandonment, loneliness, and shame that come from having a mom or dad in prison. For many, it may also include following their parents down the same destructive road to incarceration. Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. This unique program gives you an opportunity to share God's love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners.

Baptist Soup Kitchen // www.austinbaptistchapel.com

"Angel House" is the Soup Kitchen Ministry of the Austin Baptist
Chapel. The Austin Baptist Chapel is a 501-(c)(3) corporation organized under the State of Texas. Much like a church, we have a seven-member Board of Directors that oversees the decision-making of current needs, financial matters, and ensures the Chapel ministry accomplishes our stated mission.

Baptist Community Center // www.bccmission.org

In 2008 the Baptist Community Center Mission became a separate non-profit corporation supported solely by local church, organization, and individual support and donations. Please contact the mission for information about the ministry of the mission and how you can contribute to the work of the mission.

Longhorn BSM // http://longhornbsm.com

To put it simply, the Longhorn BSM is a group of students who love Jesus and want to share the love of Christ with our neighbors (UT/Austin/Texas) and the nations (US/World). Our desire is that every student we come into contact with would know and trust in the love and salvation of Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) and seeing individuals be transformed into faithful, reproducing disciple-makers (2 Timothy 2:2) all to the glory of God. We encourage you to check out the rest of our website to find out more about what we do and how you can get involved!
